Our
Goals
This Project Plan and Reinvestment Zone Financing Plan (“The Plan”)
has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 311.011
of the Texas Tax Code and outlines the improvements to be funded and
implemented by the TIRZ. The
TIRZ will provide the financing and management tools needed to help
stimulate the renovation or transition of vacant and deteriorated
commercial structures, make site improvements, improve infrastructure, and
encourage the sound growth of retail, hotel, and residential development
within the Downtown area.
Benefits
to local taxing jurisdictions and tax payers and furtherance of the City’s
goals to be accomplished by the TIRZ include the following:
